Senior Economist

Beacon Economics is seeking a qualified person to join its team of experienced economists. The preferred applicant will have specific expertise in macroeconomic forecasting, finance, or real estate economics utilizing a wide variety of data. This position will conduct research and analysis for a broad range of projects. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring statistical and other quantitative models; performing statistical analysis; conducting original research; analyzing existing research; participating in business development activities, including assisting in developing proposals and responding to contract bids; and overseeing and the work of research associates.

Required Qualifications

Advanced degree in economics or related field.
Two or more years work experience in economic analysis.
Ability to effectively communicate research findings to business audiences
